Sir Chris Hoy has created a fantastic series of books about a boy and his amazing cycling adventures. We were very excited when Bonnier asked us to design a website for the series, and were certainly up for the challenge. We were briefed to produce a website that was fun, engaging and informative with plenty of scope for development as the brand evolved.
As well as featuring the books in the Flying Fergus series – along with extras and video readings by Sir Chris himself – the site enabled visitors to explore the world and characters within the adventure-packed stories. A members-only fan club page provided additional features, including a cycling race game, puzzles and exclusive downloads. Frequently updated the site continues to grow to support the Flying Fergus brand. Flying Fergus has been chosen to promote ‘TheWorld Book Day Award’.
