We were commissioned by museum curator Jim Grevatte (grevatte.co.uk) to work with Northamptonshire based Museum of Leathercraft as a part of their evolutionary move to premises within Northampton museum. Our role, as part of an ongoing strategy, was to create an identity which reflected the Museum's new positioning and also the historical and craft based importance of leather and the leathercraft industry.
A series of research documents led us to the origination of the first stage identity and a suit of supporting materials. These included logo designs, usage guidelines, display graphics, stationary and printed publicity.
Currently in the process of delivery, the Museum of Leathercraft is a high profile project in negotiations with a number of high end fashion and lifestyle brands.
At this stage development is 'under wraps'. We'll be providing further information on this exciting project in the coming months.
