Los Angeles start-up, TV4 entertainment, wanted to launch their new network with an original series hosted by self-help legend, Paul McKenna. Going beyond the standard chat show format, the programme was created to give insight into the success stories of the World’s 100 Most Interesting People.
We were commissioned to design the title sequence and all graphics for the show – the focus being on the guests’ impressive business achievements rather than on their celebrity status.
Since it was being broadcast online via hulu we needed something that would stand out amongst the other TV shows that the site offers. We responded with a very quick turnaround, providing a title sequence and graphics that complemented the programme’s sophisticated content.
We went with a simple, classic design that was not too overpowering, but bold enough for TV4’s flagship show and representative of the calibre of its guests.
The first few episodes featured big names including Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest, Harvey Weinstein and Kylie Minogue.
Our graphic designs were not only used at the opening of the show and throughout the half-hour interviews, but were also incorporated into press photos and social media campaigns to promote the programme.
